Non-emergency medical transportation to NRV residents who do not drive, or have access to a driver or public transportation - regardless of age or income. Includes wheelchair accessible vehicles. Will transport to medical, dental and vision appointments, pharmacy pick-ups, hospital outpatient services and more. Nominal fee based on income; coordinated by volunteers. 540-980-0754 or 980-8906.

- Virginia Tech Flexible Reimbursement Accounts
Dependent Reimbursement Care - Allows employees to reimburse themselves for daycare expenses with pre-tax dollars for children, disabled spouse, or other invalid dependent. The yearly maximum for a single employee is $2,500 and the maximum for a married employee is $5,000. The minimum allowed per pay period is $10. - A Personal Care Plan (pdf)

- Senior Navigator.com is Virginia's award winning web site offering information and advice about everything from Alzheimer's Disease to writing a will.
- 2-1-1 Virginia - free telephone number Virginians can call for resources regarding counseling services, crisis intervention, volunteer opportunities and other health and human service referrals. Web site is available, but phone number may be more accurate at this time. 2-1-1Virginia can be accessed only through VA land lines or cell phones.
