Vacations are expensive, so leave your bags unpacked and use a few of these ideas to have a vacation at home!

• Create a movie with your family
• Go on a family bike ride
• Have a picnic
• Make your own kites and fly them
• Plant a family garden
• Have a field day for your kids and their friends
• Plan a pizza night and make your own
• Go camping – even in your backyard
• Plan a whole weekend or couple of days as ‘vacation’
Tips to make your staycation a real vacation!
o Take off from work
o Unplug your phone and don’t check emails
o Plan games and activities to enjoy, take pictures!
o Break some of the house rules that you wouldn’t follow on a normal vacation
